simple skin care

Truth is, I’ve only had a really good skin care routine for about a year. Before that, I didn’t really wash my face. I primarily wore makeup for performances and special occasions. Then, I would use some cheap cleanser or makeup wipe. I used chemical filled soaps on my body. The point is, that it just wasn’t skin CARE.

Well, as I was finishing up my Holistic Nutrition program last year, I stumbled upon an awesome small business that makes natural, plant-based skin care products. Today, I’m happy to say that all the products that I use are natural, chemical free, carcinogen free, AND super effective. This is not sponsored….but it is important to me that I share this with you all, SKIN CARE IS SO IMPORTANT.

I recently had an opportunity to talk with Kristen from Earth Kissed Beauty about some holistic ways to have healthy skin. You can find some of my holistic tips here, but I recommend checking out our conversation for even more nutrition based skin-care tips. I will share the interview with you below.

…but first, why don’t I share my simple and easy skin care routine. This routine has my skin rejoicing and my melanin poppin’. You should know that I have combination skin, that is more dry than oily, so your routine may differ slightly.

Follow me on Instagram for more information about the products that I use and videos about my simple skin care routine.
